Logistics company as an Authorized Economic Operator

On Monday, April 4, the AEO authorization for RL Customs Broker was officially issued! The document proves the increase of our credibility among state authorities. Thanks to this, we can carry out customs clearance much more efficiently.

At our initiative, and more precisely at the request of the customs manager, customs audits were carried out in the offices in Wrocław and Gdynia in February. The audit aimed to check many individual elements of our activity.

The auditing officials verified our fulfillment of the conditions necessary to obtain the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) title, including:

• customs procedures

• data/information security and protection standards
• financial condition and solvency of the company
• records management
• compliance with the law
• professional qualifications

Our AEO authorization brings many benefits to our company and our clients:

• increasing credibility toward the National Revenue Administration (KAS)
• reducing the number of inspections of commodities and parcels cleared by us
• priority treatment of shipments cleared by us
• faster and easier access to customs simplifications
• confirmation of the reliability of our procedures throughout the European Union and partner countries

The document is issued for an indefinite period, but our activity will be subject to annual control and verification of procedures.
