Real Logistics in Chengdu – LTL service (less than truckload)

China is one of the most popular trade destinations. Especially for importing goods. Entrepreneurs are not discouraged by a long waiting time for the goods because, concerning European prices, the cost of purchasing products is low.

— Rail transport from China is one of our specialties. It is an alternative between long sea transport and relatively expensive air transport. The train from China to Poland takes about two weeks. It is slightly slower than some airline services, and at the same time, the price is definitely more attractive. – About five days before the departure of the train, we consolidate the container. We combine several smaller shipments from different senders, going in the same direction, and load them into containers in order to reduce transport costs. For groupage transport, the same containers as for full-container shipments are used. Four days before the planned departure, the container must already be at the terminal – explains the Real Logistics expert and adds that the company currently handles one connection a week from Chengdu to Małaszewicze. — Due to the war in Ukraine, we were concerned that the volume would decrease. Indeed, there was a one-month crisis, but there is already a definite improvement. Most customers have returned, and probably at the turn of July and August, we will be able to launch a second console. We would then have two checkouts a week – announces Ewelina Fijałkowska.

What groupage commodities are shipped from China to Poland? — The merchandise is very different: machine parts, electric scooters, and toys. Before Christmas, we transport a lot of Christmas decorations, and during the holidays, swimming pools or inflatable slides. The cross-section is huge – emphasizes the railway specialist from Real Logistics.

The railway is becoming a serious competitor for other modes of transport from and to the Middle Kingdom.
